Introducing Bored Jobs Marketplace
Mouse Belt Labs, a blockchain accelerator, is responsible for the creation of the marketplace known as “Boredjobs.” It was said that all 10,000 bored apes NFTs will be uploaded on the internet so that companies may see them and “express interest in hiring for campaigns.”
There is a new NFT licensing marketplace that allows owners of Bored Apes to license out the intellectual property of their Apes to companies. Hundreds of owners of Bored Apes have joined the marketplace.
There is no way around the fact that you won’t be able to rent 10,000 Apes until the BAYC owners join up and provide proof of ownership in order for them to consider bids.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club provided its owners with an excellent chance to make use of the intellectual property rights associated with the NFTs they had acquired. Unfortuitously, they did not give an instruction manual for how to put them to use in any capacity. Bored Jobs is now working on putting out the instruction manual.
Over 200 Bored Ape Owners turned in Applications after Mouse Belt debut
In the first twenty-four hours after the debut of Mouse Belt on June 29, more than two hundred BAYC owners turned in applications to verify their ownership, according to Patrick McLain, one of the co-founders of Mouse Belt, who was interviewed by Cointelegraph. McLain provided the following description of the operating system for the platform:
Simply said, we are introducing a new channel via which marketers may communicate with Apes (currently, there is no easy way for the parties to message each other). The terms of the transaction (or even the possibility of a deal), licensing conditions, specifics, and everything else will be completely negotiated between the two parties.
“A brand may click HIRE on an ape, and we will present the transaction to the ape’s owner if both sides agree (and only if) the contract advances through,” he said. “However, the deal will only move forward if both parties are in agreement.”
In contrast to many other NFT initiatives, the proprietors of Bored Ape Yacht Club are granted commercial rights, which they are already putting to good use. Seth Green, a comedian, and actor based in Hollywood is planning to star his pet monkey in his own future television program. Andy Nguyen is not only a skilled cook but also the proprietor of BAYC NFT. It was in the month of April that he made the decision to launch his Bored & Hungry eatery in Long Beach, California.
In addition to that, there is an online band known as KINGSHIP. It began at the tail end of the previous year, and there are now four BAYC avatars participating in it. When asked how businesses might utilize apes, McLain said that it could be something as basic as “a little firm wanting an Ape to be the face of their coffee brand,” or it could be a part of large-scale marketing efforts by bigger companies:
“[It] could be a large box retailer running a marketing campaign aimed at that demographic, it could be a video game company that wants to ‘drop’ pre-made characters into their game for a simple rate, it could be a musician who doesn’t own an ape but wants to partner with one, etc.” a large box retailer running a marketing campaign aimed at that demographic. a video game company that wants to ‘drop’ pre-made characters into their game.
There are Plans to Expand Beyond Bored Ape NFTs
McLain also said that now that it has been shown that the notion is successful, Mouse Belt will be able to assist further top-tier NFTs initiatives. “Now that we have a baseline, we anticipate adding Crypto Punks in about six weeks, Gutter Cats in four weeks, and Mutant Apes approximately two weeks after that. In point of fact, we have previously produced high-quality movies for these groups in the past,” he said.
The majority of Mouse Belt’s output is related to cryptocurrency. Docuseries on YouTube called “Coins Podcast” was launched by the company in August of the previous year. The series includes interviews with prominent figures in the cryptocurrency field, such as FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and Cardano co-creator Charles Hoskinson.
