Arcade’s ARCD Token Airdrop Initiative
Digital collectible lending platform Arcade is set to distribute 3% of its total ARCD token supply.
This will be done via an airdrop to holders of selected NFT collections.
On its Medium blog, Arcade announced the “Clash of Clans” airdrop initiative.
The aim is to distribute ARCD tokens to 4,000 wallets.
Each of these wallets will be eligible to claim 750 ARCD tokens.
The team will take a snapshot on Feb. 19 at 8:00pm UTC.
The token distribution will happen in two phases: whitelist and public claim.
In the whitelist phase, Arcade intends to randomly select 2,000 wallets.
These wallets will be holding NFT collections like Pudgy Penguin, Lil Pudgy, or Sappy Seal at the time of the snapshot.
The remaining 2,000 wallets will be selected based on successful linkage of Bitcoin or Solana wallets.
These wallets will contain NFT collections including Mad Lads, Tensorians, BTC Puppets, NodeMonkes, or RSIC, also at the time of the snapshot.
The specific details about the random selection process have not been disclosed.
However, Arcade has shared a timeline for participants.
The Claim Raffle Whitelist phase will allow participants to claim tokens on Feb. 21 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm UTC.
This will be followed by the launch of the public claim phase on the same day at 9:00 pm UTC.
The public claim phase will stay open until all remaining spots from the whitelist phase have been claimed.
Arcade, previously known as Pawn.fi, is an NFT platform.
Users can borrow funds against blue-chip digital collectibles on this platform.
In December 2021, the platform successfully secured $15 million in a Series A funding round.
The round was led by Pantera Capital.
Additional investments came from Castle Island Ventures, Franklin Templeton Blockchain Fund, and Golden Tree Asset Management.
