- Proposal to deploy Uniswap V3 protocol to Polygon made
- The move will come with robust benefits including, higher revenue, market capture, higher user activity, huge savings, and more
Mihailo Bjelic has just submitted a proposal to deploy Uniswap V3 protocol to Polygon POS Chain. Speaking on the move, he believes that deploying on Polygon at this time is the right thing to do and for several major reasons.
On the one hand, deploying Uniswap V3 on Polygon PoS Chain is a brilliant move as Polygon currently ranks as the second most robust DeFi ecosystem, just behind Ethereum L1. Mihailo Bjelic believes that deploying on Polygon PoS will bring many benefits, including increased user base, higher revenue, enormous savings for the community, higher user activity, market capture, and of course, the return to the original DeFi vision, among others.
Polygon PoS is battle-tested and has proven to align with Ethereum and its values over the years.
At the moment, this is only a proposal sent to the Uniswap community, and no concrete move has been made to make the deployment a reality. The company is still waiting for feedback from its teeming community before making any definite move to make the deployment a reality.
Polygon And Its Robust PoS Chain
For those new to the crypto space, it will interest you to know that Polygon is the leading platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. The platform is building a robust product suite that will offer thousands of devs easy access to all significant scaling and infrastructure solutions.
If Uniswap finally deploys Uniswap V3 protocol on Polygon PoS Chain, Uniswap expects its user base to grow significantly, and that’s because other projects like Aave reached 700k+ users after deploying on Polygon. In terms of transaction fees, deploying on Polygon will make transaction fees 1000x lower than on other chains.
