About TRON
Tron is a blockchain-based decentralized operating system created by Tron Foundation. TRON is a smart contract platform that offers high throughput, high scalability, and high availability for all Decentralized Applications (DApps) in the TRON ecosystem. It is very similar to Ethereum and aims to advance the decentralization of the Internet and its infrastructure. The native token of the Tron blockchain is Tronix (TRX).
How Does TRON Work?
Tron runs on a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) Governance Model. It is Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible. The transactions are maintained by a consortium of Super Representatives (SR) which means that it cannot be mined. TRX holders lock their stake in Tron Power and vote in the SRs. New Tron tokens are created to reward these Super Representatives. Of the 100 Super Representative Candidates, 27 are top-voted Super Representatives. Their hierarchy changes every 6 hours based on how many Tron Power holders vote for them. There are two token standards on Tron which are TRC10 and TRC20.
TRON’s Transfer Volume Achievement
TRON Foundation also announced that the strong alliance of 4 #TRON-based stablecoins are #USDT, #USDJ, #TUSD and #USDC. Due to the increase of TRON on-chain demands and circulation, TRON’s stablecoins transfer volume has exceeded $10 billion repeatedly.
The TRON blockchain height exceeded 34.55 million. The total number of accounts on TRON reached 57,206,599. The total number of transactions on TRON reached 2.49 billion. The TVL on TRON reached $11.5 billion.
TRON’s Progress Today
TRON price today is $0.100675 with a 24-hour trading volume of $1,225,307,505. The TRX price has gone up 2.3% in the last 24 hours. TRX has a circulating supply of 72 Billion TRX coins and a total supply of 101 Billion. TRON has posted an impressive ROI of 5201.0%.
