About Swipe (SXP)
Swipe is a project that makes it possible for companies to create and distribute their own branded physical and virtual cards. Swipe’s native coin is called SXP, and it’s utilized for various purposes. In addition to paying transaction fees, SXP may be staked to obtain discounts and have a say in how the project develops.
Also, Swipe offers a product called Swipe Swap, an Automated Market Maker derived from Uniswap, SushiSwap, and the Thorchain powered by the Swipechain, an on-chain product. Swipe was created by Joselito Lizarondo, a pioneering Bitcoin investor and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in startup businesses. Lizarondo is the platform’s CEO.
Swipe was bought by Binance – one of the world’s largest digital asset exchanges — for an unknown price in July 2020.
Swipe SXP On e-Commerce Plugins
With the latest Swipe payment plugin integrations, online vendors can now accept SXP as payment on their platform. The crypto card payment facilitator made the announcement on Twitter while quoting a tweet from NOWPayments.

The news comes months after Swipe’s collaboration with NOWPayment, a leading crypto payment gateway. As a result of the two companies’ deals, online merchants can now add SXP as a payment option on their preferred trading platform.
Users will integrate the payment option into their websites using popular plugins such as Woocommerce, PrestaShop, and Shopify through the designated NOWPayment plugins.
The integration offers various benefits to early adopters, including automatic SXP payment processing, instant payouts, fast transaction settlements, low transaction fees, among others.
Swipe’s Unique Offering
Binance and FTX, two of the world’s biggest digital asset exchanges, use the Swipe API to connect to Visa, the world’s most widely used payment network. When used in conjunction with the Swipe API, real-time cryptocurrency to fiat conversions are possible with only a debit card swipe at the point of sale or during an online transaction.
This allows Swipe to provide a seamless user experience for its customers. Swipe Rewards, a card-linked-offer reward network that will enable transaction cardholders to earn up to 30% back at participating stores, is included with the Swipe API.
Since Swipe (SXP) is an ERC-20 token, its integrity is protected by Ethereum’s proof-of-work (POW) consensus process and extensive node network. It uses a Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus technique through Delegated Proof of Stake in Swipechain (DPoS).
Swipe is now trading at $2.30 per unit, with a 24-hour trading volume of $100,115,039. A live market capitalization of $441,164,638 puts the current Swipe CoinMarketCap ranking at #151. 192,168,789 SXP coins are in circulation, with a total supply of 239,612,084 SXP coins.
