About KuCoin
The KuCoin Exchange is a Singapore-based cryptocurrency trading platform launched on September 15, 2017. In 2013, the following individuals co-founded the business: Marketing Director Jack Zhu; CEO Michael Gan; Operations and Maintenance Director Kent Li; Chief Legal Consultant Linda Lin; CEO John Lee; President of Business Operations John Lee; Chief Operating Officer Eric Don; CTO Top Lan.
When the KuCoin exchange went live in 2017 as a profit-sharing token, the KCS native token was created. The coin was launched as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network, and most Ethereum wallets were able to support it.
At 200 million tokens, a repurchase and burn strategy was in place until there were only 100 million KCS left. Soon afterward, a decentralized trading solution was launched for KuCoin, and the KuCoin community’s governance token, KCS, was the native asset of these services.
KCS was built into a killer product rather than just a token, as KuCoin had stated, and this was sure to broaden the range of advantages that KCS investors enjoy the benefits of. Ultimately, KCS is the pillar of the KuCoin ecosystem. This means that KCS serves as the fundamental fuel for any future KuCoin decentralized goods built on the DEX or the KuChain network.
