Key Points
Justin Sun’s HTX Account Holdings
Tron’s founder, Justin Sun, displayed his personal HTX account today.
He revealed that his holdings are approximately $1.6 billion, equivalent to 28,613 Bitcoin (BTC).
There were recent allegations on social media that the HTX advisor was not an active user of the platform.
Sun, however, clarified these speculations on X.
He also stated that he actively uses all leading exchanges.
Sun’s disclosure has sparked discussions about HTX’s reserves.
As of February 1, HTX’s publicly disclosed reserve certificates showed that the exchange holds nearly $3.5 billion in reserve assets.
These include 540 million USDT, 21,543 BTC, 109,000 Ethereum (ETH), and 9.4 billion TRX.
This implies that Sun’s assets cover over half of HTX’s reserves.
Sun’s Wealth and the Crypto Industry
Sun’s net worth could place him among the top ten wealthiest leaders in the crypto industry.
This revelation brings attention to the broader conversation about transparency and trust in the cryptocurrency sector.
High-profile individuals like Sun have a significant role in shaping perceptions and confidence among investors and users.
Last week, crypto.news reported that Sun possibly purchased $160m in Ethereum.
This could indicate a bullish trend for the second-largest crypto.
ETH has rallied since yesterday, hitting $3,200 for the first time in two years.
This means that Sun’s latest acquisition is also 11% higher based on the latest price.
