About Horizen
Horizen is a decentralized blockchain system that is supported by a decentralized node architecture. It is designed to be interoperable. A key focus of its sidechain platform is scalable data privacy. As a result, it enables organizations and developers to create private or public blockchains utilizing the company’s proprietary sidechain technology, which it refers to simply as “Zendoo.”
Horizen was founded in May of 2017 to ensure data integrity and privacy by enabling real-world use cases in the blockchain. Horizen claims to be entirely decentralized, fully customizable and equipped with privacy features. It also claims to enable cheap costs associated with developing blockchains and flexible income models, and an endless amount of tokens and digital assets, among other things.
