- In a recent tweet, Vikings announced their donation to the Million Gardens Movement community, becoming the most charitable NFT project after Art Blocks.
About Floki Inu
Floki Inu is a multi-chain meme coin inspired by Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Elon Musk: its name is due to a tweet by Elon Musk where he stated that he would name his Shiba Inu “Floki”.
But the Floki Inu is more than a meme coin: as we can read on the Floki Inu whitepaper, the team behind this altcoin created a deflationary currency focused on utility. While its memes are used to leverage social media and the sense of community, the project itself focuses on building relationships with major partners.
Crypto influencers – like Uniswap Detective – support the project, but it’s not just a matter of visibility for the Vikings (this is the name of the Floki community).
Floki Inu partners with EPay and CryptoCart to allow people to use FLOKI in over 1500 stores, and the team is building new marketplaces for NFTs and the gaming industry. Moreover, they are creating an educational platform called Floki Inuversity.
Floki Inu also partners with the Million Gardens Movement, a charitable organization aimed at allowing everyone in America to grow their food.
The movement was born during the pandemic from the combined efforts of Frank Giustra, founder of Modern Farmer, and Kimbal Musk, founder of Big Green.
The Million Gardens Movement has not only an educational goal: the purpose is to educate people on the benefits of gardening, both for their diet and for the planet, but it is especially a way to help families in need who don’t have the resources to buy food.
Everyone can contribute to the initiative: Million Gardens Movement’s website allows people to easily give a garden to a family with a donation. The community will distribute beginner-friendly garden kits to families in need.
According to The Giving Block, with its donation of $1.4 million to the Million Gardens Movement, Floki Inu is now the second most charitable NFT project ever.
The first is the donation to the Australian branch of Doctors Without Borders from an artist of the Art Blocks community – $3.5 million.
NFTs projects can be useful and more focused on social improvements, not only on business: this is what Floki Inu wants to communicate.
Floki Inu (FLOKI) is one of the most popular meme coins in the crypto space and has an active community – it is frequently among the top 20 spots of Lunar Crunch rankings.
Its tokenomics could accelerate its success: the currency has a definite 10 trillion maximum supply, and a current price of $0.000067 – +1360% since August 2021.
